Lithograph illustrated with a drawing by Picasso, signed and dated 19.02.66 in the plate, and a poem by René Char dated February 1966: “Let the piercers of Albion’s noble earth’s crust understand this: we are fighting for a site where snow is not only the she-wolf of winter but also the alder of spring. The sun rises on our demanding blood and man is never in prison with his fellow man. In our eyes, this site is worth more than our bread, because it cannot be replaced.”
