Louis XVI period chest of drawers, in solid walnut on its front and sides.
Its top is in splendid Original Belgian St Anne Marble, of Grey color, marrying the lines of the furniture.
The belt, delimited by a Molding, is composed of three drawers, one of which is wider in the center. Underneath, there are two larger drawers, arranged in two rows, themselves separated by a simple crosspiece. Each of these two drawers has two open drawer handles, and the five openings of this chest of drawers are equipped with working lock entries. The Bronze fittings are all Original and the Chest of Drawers has its five keys.
Different Woods have been chosen for the inside of the drawers: the sides are in Beech, the bottoms in Oak, and under each of them there are so-called ”anti-dust” bottoms.
This chest of drawers is flanked by four fluted and protruding uprights. The front ones are rounded to 3/4.
The whole rests on four turned legs called ”Toupie”, decorated with clogs, and Brass crowns on the front ones.
This Elegant Chest of Drawers exudes a certain warmth through its wood, and features an elaborate and quality bronze finish.
