Vintage Folk Art Heron Decoy, likely, circa 1960s or 1970s. A stately heron carved in an alert posture with upraised head and elongated neck. Decoy was made in three parts, nicely hand whittled and finished in a dark stain, with tack eyes, later mounted on a driftwood disk base. A rustic treasure. The decoy show some wear, and has been puppy nibbled on the tip of the beak.
