Vintage Design
A lovely faux book fronted “The Hidden TV Company” television stand or media cupboard A very good looking piece, the faux book front is one of my favourite frontages, they actually date back to the early Victorian era and can be found on some very fine side tables To be honest as I look at the chest, I see it more as something that would be used for toys or blankets due to the size. Anyway, it is designed to house media equipment, there is a drop panel to the base, the top lid lifts up, the top is black leather with embossed edges Condition wise you have patina marks to the top as you would expect, there have been some cable routing holes cut inside External dimensions: Height 83cm Width 84cm Depth 48.5cm Internal dimensions: Height 66.5cm Width 74cm Depth 36cm. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
