Vintage Chippewa (also known as Ojibwe) birch bark lidded box with porcupine quill decoration and sweetgrass rims fastened with black thread – featuring a finely quilled red tulip with green stem and leaves to the top and further quilled decoration to the sides – unsigned – Canada (Ontario) – early 20th century.
Excellent vintage condition – minor scuffs and scratches – a few loose / broken threads – no loss – no damage – no restoration – signs of age and use.
