American Federal figured mahogany two-drawer stand with carved molded edge top, original gilt floral ringed brasses, interior locks, and resting on turned bulbous pineapple legs with the original brass cupped casters. New York, Early 19th century. The table has characteristics seen on many pieces from the celebrated shop of cabinetmaker Duncan Phyfe, New York. Secondary wood consist of white pine and tulip poplar.
