In cherry wood with a polar secondary, turned wooden pulls, and round wooden escutcheons.
Painted with black highlights to edge and with black & gold paint to turned side columns.
Inlaid with maple arrowhead or dovetail triangles to the skirt edges and rectangular maple or fruitwood inlay to the front flanking the top drawer.
Simply a wonderful antique chest of drawers!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is a wonderful heavy crackelure to the finish.
One half of one foot is missing.
There is an unevenness to the finish throughout, black rings & staining to the top, impressed marks to the finish here and ther, and a few spots of green & white house paint to the surface.
There is checking or age cracks to the top and drawer faces, edge wear and losses sporadically, and veneer loss in a few small spots.
Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Drawer interiors are all marked with numbers in permanent marker.
