An early 19th Century original painted long case clock or Grandfather clock from Sweden. This folk art clock is more unique because it originally was made to celebrate the wedding between a young couple in 1825.
The initialsl of both (the man above L J S which means the Son of L.J. and the woman under C P D, which means the Daughter of C.P.) indicate that. This blue painted Scandinavian folk art clock comes complete with pendulum and weights. We do not guarantee its working condition even though the clockwork is nice and complete.
