Ornate Hand-Carved Giltwood Phoenix Harp Occasional Chairs, Set of 2

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of very important looking hand carved with giltwood accents occasional chairs These are very decorative side chairs, I’m sure they were made by someone important, they have Phoenix heads, floral reefs surrounding harps, the finial tops and pineapples as a nod to Queen Victorian They were recently reupholstered with rather grand looking upholstery, it’s a royal blue with elegant motif We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there Dimensions: Height 83 cm seat height 49 cm Width 42 cm Depth 45.5 cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
