Vintage Design
Large Art Deco bookcase cabinet of the late thirties, early forties from a French ministry. The cabinet is very similar to the furniture of Paul Dupré Lafon in its design language, materials, extraordinary quality. Similar furniture is documented. The cabinet is covered with red leather in the front, the large bronze handle is pushed up and then the two hinged doors open. When closed, the keyhole is hidden. The cabinet is in the original condition of the 40s . Bronze applications, bronze handle, heavy quality, probably a one-off. Key is no longer present. Brass strips around the leather front.
