Group of five Folk Art fish decoys composed of painted tinned iron sheet metal or aluminum fins and tails and carved wooden weighted lead bodies, some with applied eyes; others with painted (ca. 1940s-1950, USA). The only non-weighted / all carved wood example is the black fish.
One fin is missing from each silver and orange decoy (common with examples of this age). There is natural patina present from age and use along with paint losses / general wear. A nice collection of an artifact that is often considered one the first forms of Folk Art.
