Painted blanket chest with bracketed feet and beautiful saw tooth apron. Top with molded edge and stepped cleats. An absolute delight, this festive 18th century jewel made of pine with its original till has a wonderful, early 19th century painted surface. The top is affixed with iron hinges, lifting to reveal a tidy interior. The feet are crisply cut and lend a nice balance.
