Cubist dining table from the Czech Republic. It dates from 1910-1920. This piece of stained wood furniture includes 2 integrated extensions. It is probably a unique piece made to order. It was acquired from the family of the sponsor. This table recalls the creations of Pavel Janak and Josef Gocar. It is in good vintage condition.
Czechoslovakian Cubism is an artistic movement that expressed itself particularly in architecture and decorative arts. It manifested itself in the years 1910-20.
