Art Deco Hand Carved Walnut & Leather Denby & Spinks Dining Chairs, Set of 8

We are delighted to this stunning suite of eight Denby & Spinks Art Deco carved Walnut dining chairs with pale green leather upholstery These are part of a suite, in total I have 8 dining chairs, an extending dining table, large inverted breakfront sideboard and medium inverted breakfront console table. The sideboard, table and console are all in heavily burred walnut. This sale is for the item mentioned above and below only, the other pieces are all listed under my other items The chairs are in a nice faded pale green leather, I can have these hand dyed a sublime whisky or cigar brown color, for a price on the recoloring The chairs have solid walnut frames, the cabriolet legs are finished with hand carved acanthus leather style tops which were very popular in the Art Deco period We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they will have some age and use related patina marks here and there, mostly they are in very fine order X6 standard chair dimensions: Height 112cm Width 56cm Depth 57.5cm Seat height 54.5cm X2 carver chair dimensions: Height 115cm Width 66.5cm Depth 63cm Seat height 54.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
